FORUM8 opens its new office in Rome
FORUM8 (with his head office located at 2-15-1 Konan, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan, and represented by President Yuji Ito; URL: https://www.forum8.com/) has opened a new office in Rome, Italy. The new office is located within the office of TEAM IWAKIRI (Represented by Mr. Shigeru Iwakiri as its president), which handles a wide range of design work including architectural design, interior design, and furniture design for commercial facilities, residences, and hotels. The new office office is situated near the Baths of Caracalla, part of the World Heritage Site in Rome.
FORUM8 and TEAM IWAKIRI s.r.l. have signed a partnership agreement, and in the new office, we will utilize TEAM IWAKIRI’s long-standing expertise to offer VR and CG software (VR Design Studio UC-win/Road, Shade3D, etc.) to automotive companies, construction companies and architectural offices, including existing Italian users. The new office will be actively engaged in the sales of VR/CG software (VR Design Studio UC-win/Road, Shade3D, etc.), Metaverse (F8VPS), and NFT Services (F8NFTS) to automotive companies, construction companies, and architectural firms, including existing Italian users, while proposing solutions related to autonomous driving and construction ICT and hosting seminars in the local market.
We also plan to release Italian versions of each and every product in due course.
Mr. Iwakiri, the representative of TEAM IWAKIRI, studied under the world-renowned architect Kenzo Tange and is well known for his longtime work as the head of the European division of Tange’s office.
Mr. Fabio Oppici, who has many years of experience as an architect at TEAM IWAKIRI, will be in charge of the projects in Italy.
FORUM8 has been contributing to the motorsports culture by sponsoring the 6th round of the World Rally Championship (hereafter referred to as WRC), Rally Italia Sardinia (May 30th – June 2nd, 2024), as well as other WRC events around the world and serving as the title partner of the WRC Japan round, FORUM8 Rally Japan. In addition, during the Milano Salone in April 2024, Forum8 exhibited at the Super Design Show for the third consecutive year, presenting interior and space design solutions using IT technology, as well as technologies related to automated driving simulators and other automated driving and safe driving support.
Going forward, we will leverage our experience in developing and providing these technologies and services to offer high-quality solutions to local companies, with the aim of achieving further growth.
In addition, we will hold a seminar in October to commemorate the opening of the new office.
